India renews support for U Thant House

Yangon, February 27, 2019: U Thant House gratefully received a donation from H.E. Ambassador Shri Saurabh Kumar on behalf of the Government of India.The grant will help fund future seminars and roundtable discussions, as well as contribute towards the museum, educational programs and the conservation of the heritage property. The Government of India has been one of the principal supporters of U Thant House since 2015. Also part of the delegation were Dr. Sumit Seth (Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy), Ms. Amrita Banerjee (Third Secretary, Indian Embassy).
