As the museum is housed in a century old residential house, rooms are small and can only accommodate a limited number of visitors. The maximum number of visitors we can receive in one group is 20. Thank you for your understanding.

Visits outside of normal opening hours can be arranged by appointment.

Museum tours are provided by dedicated and knowledgable guides; the tour takes approximately 25 minutes and there is also a 25-minute long documentary about U Thant's life and work exclusively screened at the museum.
ADMISSIONS
U Thant House depends on the contributions of its visitors and supporters to help sustain the exhibition and our educational programme for Myanmar students. Visitors are asked to contribute admissions fee to help us make it possible for Myanmar people to visit regardless of financial circumstance, especially Myanmar students for whom U Thant’s life can be a great source of inspiration. GROUP VISITS
For groups of more than 5 persons please send an email inquiry to booking.uthanthouse@gmail.com telling us about your group: who and how many you are, the age span of the persons in the group, language, preferred date and time, and any other needs.
We will do our best to try to accommodate and make the necessary arrangements. However, we are a small team and may not be able to accommodate tour requests on certain specific dates. We ask that you inquire with us at least one week in advance of your proposed visit.

U Thant House welcomes group visits from schools, universities, education providers and nonprofit community organizations. A program tailored to students is being developed. Please indicate in your inquiry email if your group is a study group so that we can plan a program which includes educational activities suited to your group.
